Thoughts on Hmd Glasses

Does any of y’all have some like xreal or similar HMD glasses? I think the concept is cool, for a portable monitor replacement. When traveling with them and something like DeX or RaspberryPi it would be awesome and more compact than even a laptop.

But can it be a proper Desktop PC monitor replacement? For me, having anything other than clothes on my body is really annoying. I don’t like regular glasses because I can’t like roll around in bed or something, or they fog up etc.

And when I’m on my PC, quitting using the PC is easy: I just walk away. But with these glasses I have to take them off, like a wired headphone. There is just something annoying about that and an issue a full monitor doesn’t have.

Another issue is that the glasses’ display is very… In your face and you’re super focused on it. Often though when I’m on my PC I have other stuff to do than just working on my digital workspace like eg. reading stuff on my phone, writing stuff down, reading caliper measurements etc.
